What is a “Tutor”? The definition of a tutor is: "One who is acts as a private teacher and is charged with the instruction and guidance of another". A tutor can also be defined as: "A private instructor or coach who gives additional, special, or remedial instruction." Whatever the definition, at some point or other in our academic lives, almost everyone needs a tutor. Even the brightest kids may have one troublesome subject, or maybe they just need a little extra boost to get the higher grade and get into the secondary School or University of their choice. With the fierce competition to get into good schools, a little Mathematics tutoring , English tutoring, or Spanish tutoring may be just what you or your student needs. How Does Tutoring Help? Private tutoring can help students with learning disabilities to master subjects and study skills(Vadasy, Jenkins, & Pool, 2000); Private tutoring can help students who have performed poorly on yearly standardized tests (Robelen, 2002); Private tutoring can help academically and intellectually advanced students remain challenged—and, therefore, interested in their education—and, because it is customized, one-to-one instruction, private tutoring can go at the accelerated pace necessary for such students (as reported by Dr. Charlton in “The Story of My Life” in Charlton, Marolf, & Stanley, 2002); Private tutoring can help ensure that primary School students have a firm grasp on academic basics when school systems may be introducing more complex ideas before the basics have been mastered as a result of mandatory end-of-year standardized testing (MacDonald, 2003); Private tutoring can help students prepare for and maximize scores on standardized tests such as SEA, CSEC and CAPE. And, yes, private tutoring can also help students who are having difficulty with a particular subject—for as we all know, few of us are equally good at every subject: some of us are math people, some of us are language arts people, some of us are more interested in science or history—and, therefore, some of need additional help at some point in our educational lives in subjects we find particularly challenging). How Can We Help? Here at Grade A, we promote the benefits of tutoring by adding a little twist of our own. In addition to formulating Personalized lesson Plans based on the results of our Skills Assessment Test, we also analyse the likes and dislikes of the students to create an interesting programme. So for instance, if John who is having problems with Spanish enjoys playing games online, we at Grade A will incorporate internet based language learning games into his Personalized Lesson Plan. This way John will be more motivated to learn since he will be enjoying what he does! You don't have to be rich to hire a Personal Tutor. We also keep you updated with our monthly Progress Reports and offer email support and telephone support when needed. Private Tutoring is no longer reserved for the rich. At Grade A our prices are effective, affordable and of excellent quality. So if you are thinking about getting your child a Tutor call us today, we will be happy to assist you on your journey to academic success.

[Understand yourself happy, that is true.] Man must stand the lie, stand the perfunctory, resist deception, forget it promises to let go of all, the last with a laugh to disguise the fallen tearsto remember that the more we hold back the tears, the more will become happy medicine.

If you have confidence, it will release the invisible energy to propel you toward success; if you have low self-esteem or fear, it will release the invisible energy, causing you to fail. The successful person will experience the joy of success and more confident; the failure of people will experience the pain of failure is more self-esteem.

It's interesting that hiring a tutor can actually help a child with disabilities learn quicker. I've always thought of tutoring as a way for parents to have their kids excel. I'll have to look into hiring a tutor for my son who has a learning disorder. Thanks for the post!

it is best to remember which cleaning providers are businesses that offer valuable services for those who need all of them. In today's society, there is actually nothing elitist regarding hiring the cleaning support.

I appreciate you mentioning that private tutors can help students get a grasp on more complicated materials before they have to take standardized tests at the end of the year. My son has been having trouble with math and I've been wondering if I should get him a private tutor or just have him go to some study sessions that are held after school. I will definitely have him use the former so that he can have help mastering some of the complex ideas of math to catch up with the rest of the class personally.

I do like it when you said that private tutoring will help a child because there will be a person to assist them in further understanding a subject that they do not fully get. If so, then I think my younger brother need a tutor in science. He is finding it difficult to learn a few things, and there is only so much that I can tell him. Thanks!

Thank you for explaining that one of the benefits of hiring a private tutor is that it helps children with learning disabilities master a subject. This is made possible as the tutor concentrates solely on educating the particular student. My daughter is behind in maths and I will look into hiring a private math tutor for her.

I like that you mentioned that private tutoring can help kids nail the academic basics from an early age. My kids are still in elementary school, but I have tough about getting a private tutor for them to make sure they advance at the right speed. I want to make sure that they'll be able to continue to learn new material.
